i discovered something wonderful last week while killing time before my mammogram.

i went down the concourse to get a bagel at einstein brothers and suddenly noticed that the einstein brothers was in fact an au bon pain! imagine my surprise!

i was immediately smitten with this: a creme brulee cupcake.

i snatched it up and as i dashed back toward the waiting area, shoved the entire thing into my mouth.

heaven, my lovelies. heaven. sweet, light, crunchy. mmmm....

next time i shall have two.
