it's cupcake time. seriously.

the baking pans are out and ready to go.

tonight after work i do my last bit of prep for cupcake-palooza: baking! the butter is on the counter, warming. the dark chocolate bars are stacked up, the baking pans are lined, and the cake boxes are waiting to be filled.

the helium tanks are in the car trunk. as are the balloons, cake stands, cupcake coloring pages and crayons, a "macguyver box" with everything i might need tomorrow during set-up, and a million other things, including thank you notes i found on clearance last night at target that i will surely need when this is all through.

tomorrow is C-day! let the people come!
