Roll out the Red Carpet!

The movie Hubz scored, Billy: The Early Years, is having its red carpet world premiere Thursday at the Regal Green Hills! The cast and crew screening is tomorrow night. So needless to say, it's a busy week for us, and babysitters have been procured.

The premiere is a fundraiser for the Nashville Film Festival and it's open to the public. You can get ticket prices and info here. Rumor has it some of the folks who contributed songs to the soundtrack will be there, like Sara Evans and Alan Jackson. And of course the main actors in the film, too, like Armie Hammer and Stefanie Butler, who play Billy and his wife Ruth.

I can't wait to hear Hubz' gorgeous score on the big screen. It's his dream of a lifetime. Maybe now everyone will know what I've always known: He's the most talented composer around. A true musical genius. He is amazing.

The movie will open in limited release (about 150 cities, including Nashville) the weekend of Oct. 10 and open wide after that.

The movie is about the Rev. Billy Graham when he was a young man, struggling with his faith, and the decision to become an evangelist. The movie was shot mostly in Tennessee and from what I have seen so far is going to be quite lovely to look at. I can't wait to see the finished product. I'll be blogging about it, you can be sure.
