the boy continues to grow up. each day he's more of a little man.

what's a mommy to do but take pictures and cry?

ps i really did almost cry just now when i dropped my camera on my oh-so-trendy cement floor.

the camera isn't seriously injured, but it's really, really angry with me.

my new photography book came in the mail this weekend. here are a few shots from the weekend. I'm using an Olympus e-10. an older camera but a good one for learning on.

i bought this book

a little sussy's nicole hill gerulat just published a photography textbook, photo 101, and i had to get it.

i've always been overwhelmed by the numbers aspect of photography - aperture, shutter speed, etc.

however, when i look at all the pretty blogs out there (like nicole's, kelle's, naomi's and Lisa's) i truly long to get my shooting skills up to speed so i can run some decent pictures for a change.

if i can just get some cute ones of the boy i'd be thrilled.
