Acklen Flats. My new nest?

Several businesses will soon move into the retail space of 2100 Acklen Flats: Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, Double Dogs restaurant, Revelator Coffee, Native + Nomad, Uncle Classic Barbershop and Pilates Garage.

A few more slots are left to be filled.

Progress is coming along with construction. Exteriors are taking shape, and some interiors too, if you check the A-Flats Facebook page.

Can't wait to see the courtyard in the center (a mini-central park if you will), which could be nice for bocce ball, s'mores-making and stargazing on summer nights.

Also the stained concrete, granite countertops, subway tile and stainless appliances are going to be pretty.

I go on a tour in a week and a half. Can't wait!

Pre-leasing will begin soon. Only 42 units on two levels, so it will be cozy and hopefully have a nice sense of community.
