can you save money on parking tickets? no, of course not. the only way is to not get them in the first place.

so my tip, which obviously i didn't follow yesterday (see above) is always arrive early to meetings.

that way you have time to drive around and look, or hang out and wait, until a legal spot is available.

if you are in a rush, running late and in a panic (which i often am), you will succumb to the siren's call of an illegal alleyway parking spot that everyone else seems to be getting away with ...

... until you come out later and find that they (and you) haven't gotten away with it after all.

bam! $50 bucks down the drain.

it always makes a good impression to be early for meetings, right? so arrive early, take a deep breath, and park legally.

it's better than the alternative.
