bits of my weekend vol. 77.

super fun weekend. here are the highlights. i'd give more detail, but i'm late for the boy's field trip. and then i have an interview with a civil rights icon ... and then, more stuff. my schedule is packed today.

the boy is really into reading scary stories. or rather, having me read him scary stories.

well, not too scary.

we built this model of the chrysler building. yeah, that took some time.

i went to a private sale and got some super cheap deals. this picnic set ...

champagne flutes (perfect for new year's eve!) ...

and these cool bookends. such steals! it was a private sale. so private, i can't even tell you about it. except to say, it was a really really really good sale. luckily i didn't have that much extra cash, or i would have gone crazy.
