vanderbilt's fantastic baseball coach tim corbin finally got his due, when he was added to this iconic coaches mural on the side of the verizon store on west end avenue in nashville.
the mural has been around since the '80s, and has only featured basketball and football coaches until now.
and though people think the university decides who goes on it, it's actually the work of vandy fans. they recently raised the money to have artist mike cooper add the deserving corbin, whose commodore baseball team is currently playing in the college world series in omaha for the first time!
