the boy is gaga for dragons.
so how can i resist taking him to the nashville dragonboat and river festival on saturday?
despite the obscene heat index, we're just gonna have to go.
there will be dancing chinese dragons (ooh, i bet it's hot in there!) ...
dragon boat races ...
and more dragon boat races ...
and sundry dragon-related activities for kids.
it starts at 8 a.m., so going early may be the key to enjoying the festivities before it gets too ridiculously hot.
hooray for dragons!
