It was an Easter weekend miracle

I baked something without a recipe and it actually turned out. It's a crescent roll baked in a muffin pan with eggs, bacon and cheese in it. Yummy.

I would love to have the recipe even though you claim there isn't one!

Press crescent roll dough into buttered muffin pans in a kind of bowl shape. Whip eggs. Fill crescent roll "bowls" with the whipped eggs. Sprinkle cheese and bacon bits on top. I also did some with just cheese and some with ham and cheese. Brie or Chevre would be great. Also you could mix the egg with cream so it is more like souffle. I got the idea from Panera's baked egg souffle. http://www.panerabread.com/menu/bakery/souffles.php

Yum! I usually roll bacon pieces, bits of scrambled egg and a 1/3 slice of cheese in a croissant roll and bake. I will try these next.

Happy Easter Joan and Jean!
