What's the cure for cabin fever? A tent and s'mores, of course.

The weather outside was bitterly cold this weekend. So what's a mommy to do when the little guy only wants to be outside? Bring the outdoors in, that's what. We (Hubz) built a fire, brought in our favorite kitty Milly, toasted marshmallows and made some ooey-gooey s'mores with graham crackers and melted Ghirardelli chocolate chips. Then we (Hubz) put up a tent on top of the boy's bed, and read classic fairy tales like Snow White, the Three Little Pigs and Sleeping Beauty until our little rascal nodded off. Big fun! I have a feeling the tent is going to stay for a while. As long as it makes bedtime fun, I say, let's keep it up. Oh, and I wouldn't mind having another s'more. Those were pretty awesome.
