Tales from the Slush Pile

My friend Christopher forwarded a link to this comic strip about would-be authors, called "Tales from the Slush Pile." For those who don't know the term, a slush pile (at least in the book publishing world) is the mountain of unsolicited manuscripts every book editor has on his or her desk. Sometimes there's even a separate room just for all the rejected (or as-yet-unreviewed) manuscripts. This comic is a fun look at the lives of aspiring authors. Thanks, Chris, for sending this my way!
