Sprinkles, lined up and ready for action.

As you can see, I've gotten all stocked up on sprinkles in anticipation of Winston's cupcake party tomorrow. The theme is "blue" so I'm going to make a blue buttercream icing to go on white cupcakes with tiny pastel sprinkles. I'll also make german chocolate (Win's dad's favorite) and red velvet (Win's mom's favorite), and maybe some lemon ones too. Or maybe the lemon ones will have blue icing ... or the red velvet will now be blue velvet. Not sure. We'll see how the spirit moves me tonight as I bake and tomorrow morning as I frost. Can't wait!
