His teachers are relieved. As the weather has worsened, It seems that sending him in to school wearing the hooded sweatshirt he loves so much makes me look like an unfit mother. So we bought this fleece-lined, hooded winter coat, which he loves, incidentally (and that is key, because that means he'll wear it), at the Children's Place. It was half off and I had a coupon, so ended up paying only about $15. Side note: the long sleeved thermals are just $7 each and are so soft and warm. Jack Henry loves the red one with the hockey sticks on it.
