the southern artisan cheese festival was fantastic. what fun to volunteer at this wonderful event. i was able to take a quick break from my duties to sample some luscious delights, including goat cheese ice cream with brandied figs from jeni's splendid ice cream. a truly life-changing moment.

PS whole foods quite generously provided food for the volunteers. i delivered the leftovers to firefighters and pediatric nurses after the event. huzzah!
