not a creature was stirring ...

it's not even halloween yet and we've been watching the grinch dvd for a week. so, in the spirit of the holidays, which will be here before you know it, here's a giveaway you won't want to miss out on:

it's a fabulous mouse from humanscale. it's ergonomic, adjustable and programmable. need i go on? it's super cool.

it's certified for windows vista and also compatible with windows 98, 2000, ME and XP. sorry, mac users, you're outta luck.

the rest of ya'll, if you leave me a comment here, i'll include you in a random drawing (U.S. only).

i'll announce the winner on Friday, Nov. 6.

ok - so leave me a comment. preferably about how much you like my blog. or how much you like to get free stuff. or something. whatever.

I do love your blog. It's so fun to feel like we're all a part of each other's lives even though separated by distance. And just for the record, I didn't think your owl cupcakes were bad - it's just because you saw them with the black icing and they looked so different! Have a great day..Deb

It's like being back at Filmhouse with you all those years ago. Intelligent, funny, introspective. And I now don't look so down on subtitled movies.

I am a faithful reader of the blog so I figured I better comment! Plus I do love free stuff. So does the Grinch scare JH at all? Poor Ryan keeps having nightmares about the Grinch (although he still wants to read the story over and over). We haven't even watched it on tv yet. We did watch the Halloween Charlie Brown last night and Ryan loved that. Ok I will stop rambling now (this is why I should not have a blog - I am way too random).

Excellent writing, close-up photos of scrumptious photos, adorable Munchkin -- what's not to love about your blog!? To coin a phrase from my college kids, that mouse would sick in my high-tech office (I'm pretty sure that "sick" means cool). :-)
