i repeat, this is not a storm

tuesday night it rained and the boy was nervous. i assured him it was *not* a storm.

just rain.

no tornado.

no storm.

just rain.

sweet, gentle rain that never hurt anybody.

the next morning, on the way to school, we saw this.
