Provence Breads gives a shout out to my people
I was happy to see that the new menu at Provence Breads in Nashville includes locally-grown ingredients, specifically peaches and strawberries farmed by nearby Mennonites.
I'm proud of my Mennonite heritage and though I don't wear the bonnet pictured here, I do hold true to many of the beliefs and values I learned as a child, including working hard, respecting the earth and advocating peace.
If you visit one of the Provence Breads locations, be sure to send word to the chef that using local ingredients, and supporting Tennessee Mennonites, is a very good thing.
