Today I had the chance to sample goodies from the Cocoa Tree, located in the Germantown district of Nashville. These handmade truffles (made by Chocolatier Bethany Thouin) are super yum. Love the Tiffany blue and chocolate brown motif. More investigation and reporting to come. Road trip! In the meantime, visit her Web site.
PS the truffle pictured here is called Renee's Chile Pepper, and it has a French chocolate center infused with cinnamon and organic chipotle. It's dipped in Venezuelan chocolate and sprinkled with chili pepper flakes. Hay Caramba!

Reading you blogging about all these delectable sweet things on a regular basis is becoming torture since I am cutting out sweet stuff for the foreseeable future. It's called trying to fit into one pair of pants that I owned prior to be coming pregnant! :-)
