Faithful BlogofJoan reader Jean (and my identical twin) did some cupcake reporting for me over the weekend. While on a business trip to NYC, she trekked to the famous Magnolia Bakery in the West Village. She's pictured here with the guy who sold her the cupcake, Giovanni from Ethiopia. Did I mention she makes friends where ever she goes? Jean loved the chocolate cupcake and adored the pink buttercream icing.
