My condolences go out to my friends who are Red Sox fans, but weren't you so proud of Vanderbilt alum David Price, whose pitching acumen saved the Tampa Bay Devil Rays from sudden death in the battle for the American League championship last night? Rookie Price came in and saved the day when it looked like all hope was lost. Hopefully he wasn't injured when the entire team piled up on him at the end of the game. My A, B and C teams are all out of the running (Yanks, Cubs, White Sox, respectively) so it looks like I'll be rooting for my man Price in the World Series.
