Happy Bastille Day!

I hope you do something French today (something peace-loving, of course, despite the history of the holiday). You could visit Cake Spy to see a rundown of France's best pastries. Or, rent Paris Je T'aime, a collage of 18 short films about Paris. I enjoyed it when it ran at the Belcourt last year. For Bastille Day, I recommend visiting Nashville's ultimate French bakery, Provence Breads and Cafe. While you're there, enjoying le petit dejeuner, why not peruse Queen of Fashion: What Marie Antoinette wore to the Revolution, by Caroline Weber? Looks like a fabulous read.
